Turbo bypass valve on Audi/VW TFSi engines
Monday 5 March, 2012
Turbo bypass valve failure on some Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda engines is unfortunately a common problem.
Luckily here at Russell Automotive Centre London’s Leading Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda Specialist we have seen it many times before and are very familiar with performing the correct diagnosis.
What can be seen when the valve is removed is a split diaphragm.
When replacing this valve the genuine parts used are of a modified type and will not give you the same trouble.
For correct diagnosis of this type of problem and all other problems remember that Russell Automotive Centre, London’s Leading Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda Specialist is London’s only Award Winning Specialist with the same fully up to date diagnosis equipment as a main dealer and our labour rates are up to 50% cheaper.
Don’t waste your time and money on an incorrect diagnosis come to Russell Automotive Centre, London’s Leading Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda Specialist.

Fleet Manager, Fleet Van Servicing Centre North London.
Whilst travelling to you you ordered the part, and an hour after my initial call my van was on the lift and a new starter-motor was being fitted. An hour later I was on my way back to work. I cannot thank you enough for your help. Not only did you go out of your way to keep us working, you did it at a very sensible price.
