The cambelt is a very hard working component of your engine and needs to be replaced at recommended intervals.
Cambelts need to be replaced according to time and millage intervals. This varies from car to car so please call us and we can advise you on on the best time to replace your cambelt. Their wear can also be influenced by other factors such as contamination and wear of other components.
Although a costly piece of routine maintenance it is cheaper than the replacement of a whole engine should your old cambelt snap! So preventative maintainence of the cambelt is the way to keep you engine running smothly.
Unlike other garages when we quote for a cambelt replacement we have already included the cost to replace the complete cambelt kit which includes the toothed cambelt the rollers and tensioners.

We will also replace the cambelt driven water pump and perform a complete cooling system drain and refill with the correct G12 Plus antifreeze.
We will also replace the alternator drive belt (ribbed belt).
This repair is very complicated and will be carried out by our highly trained technicians.
