For the last 25 years Managing Director Steve Russell has been working with Audi & Volkswagen cars. His experience is second to none. He is renowned as one of the best in the trade and being picked as one of the original Audi Master Technicians, Steve has solved many problems – where others have failed. According to The Institute of the Motor Industry in 2007 Steve was one of the Top Technicians in the entire UK, and is still as passionate and dedicated in offering exceptional customer service.
Steve has mentored many apprentices and technicians over the years who have gone on to become Master technicians.
Steve has qualified as both an Audi and Volkswagan Master Technician, and opened up his very own Audi/Volkswagen garage in Kingsbury, North-West London in 2007.
Steve is a keen member of the gym and enjoys running marathons for charity.
Jane Russell has a BA (HONS) degree in Media and Communications and left university to embark on a successful career in television broadcast. After the birth of her first child in 2004, Jane established a home search and relocation company based in Hertfordshire and serviced corporate clients and private individuals including professional sportsmen. Jane also established and successfully ran two women based networking groups in North London and Hertfordshire and is still heavily involved with business networking.
In 2007 Jane and Steve set up Russell Automotive Centre and split the business so that Steve runs the garage whilst Jane runs the company.
Jane lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Steve; their two children and Poppy the dog.
Sudesh joined the team in early 2011 and brought with him 24 previous years worth of management experience at a main dealer level.
Sudesh has an outstanding customer service, personally overseeing his customer needs are fully met whilst their car is in our care.
Prior to the management aspect of his career, Sudesh trained as a technician and Mot tester and has a full technical understanding as well as a welcoming smile!
Sudesh is an avid squash player and regular bike rider and keen gardener. He lives in London with his wife and son.
Zbyszek Domanski A.K.A ‘Bush’ Master TechnicianBush qualified as a vehicle technician in Poland having experienced the car industry from all aspects including straight from the factory line. Bush moved over to the UK and furthered his qualification with a VW main dealer to become a Master Technician for Volkswagen. He also proudly holds the title of being in the top 5 Master Technicians in the UK for the whole of the VW Group (Audi, VW, Seat & Skoda) Russell Automotive Centre is delighted to have Bush as our head technician.
Bush enjoys skiing and mountain climbing and is very proud of his two daughters. He lives in Hertfordshire with his family.
Peter has been working with cars for about 10 years and he started his career as a qualified engineer specialising in motor parts for Volkswagen cars. Peter felt his main passion was in repairing cars so retrained as a technician 6 years ago; building his knowledge base and skills to become the experienced technician he is today!
Peter has also spent three years in Italy making wine; loves nature, hiking and is a huge animal lover and enjoys motorbikes, cars and motorsports.
Peter lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and dog.
Caner has always had a passion for mechanics and eagerly started as an apprentice at a VW main dealer in 1999. It was here that he qualified and then continued to work as a technician and gain the experience and knowledge that he carries with him today. Cars are a big part of Caner’s life; both in work and play, and he has a huge interest in performance cars and enjoys going to Aston Martin race meets!
Caner joined Russell Automotive Centre at the beginning of 2011 where he qualified as an MOT tester. Caner is a big gym addict, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves travelling and can’t get enough of New York which is where he goes as often as he can.
Caner lives in North London with his family.
Stefan joined the team in 2011 having trained and worked at the biggest Volkswagen dealwership in Bulgaria. His methodical working is an asset to the workshop.
He lives in Middlesex with his girlfriend.
Hugo is our very own apprentice. From the start Hugo impressed us enough for us to offer him the chance to learn the trade under our supervision. From his background in sales and recruitment; Hugo could no longer deny his passion for cars and the motor industry. Both his father and grandfather before him ran a garage in Portugal and Hugo has continued in their path.
When Hugo was younger he played basketball at competition level with the London United under 17′s team. His height at 6′ 6″ being a distinct advantage!
Hugo has travelled most of Europe and the USA and is fluent in Portuguese. He lives in NW London with his family.
Alisha left school in 2010 with a passion to start a career in business and finance. She began working for a recruitment company to achieve her first business and administration qualification in record time. Alisha is continuing her career development and is furthering her qualifications whilst working as a business apprentice with Russell Automotive Centre.
Alisha enjoys socialising with her friends and family. She enjoys the cinema and reading. Her favourite author is crime writer James Patterson.
Alisha lives in NW London with her family.
